OMG! ....don't tell me that! I'm an EB fanatic.

Haven't tried it there, yet. But, if they can't pull off an EB, they're banned
for life. No kidding. I'll test 'em this weekend.

Lemmeno what you think of their EB. I thought they were awful. And the
"Canadian bacon" wasn't. OTOH, if you ever get near San Clemente,
lemme steer you to a righteous EB on Pico...and about 15 kinds of
waffles with something called "jumbleberry" syrup that is about 5
kinds of berries made into a syrup. Just slap 'em on your thighs and
avoid the middleman :-)

Was it like Perkins'? Lemon-flavored chicken gravy? Did you have the
EB at Al's?

No - had plain ole pancakes, IIRC. Al's wouldn't have served such
slop. No the "Hollandaise" at Mimi's was more like Cheez Whiz than
righteous Hollandaise.

The very first time I visited my in-laws, they honored me by serving
eggs benedict for breakfast. (I hate runny eggs.) Topped with
hot Cheese Whiz. I could see the jar. I'm properly brought up, so
I mashed everything together into the english muffin and tried not
to think about what I was eating.
