How in Sam Hill did YOU find out about THAT? I wasn't going to mention
it.

HowEVER, since YOU did. . . I found out about another prize I won -- an
autographed copy of a preserving book given to the judges¹ choice for
the most outstanding exhibit in canned and preserved foods. Only thing
is, I don't know what it's for and the building Superintendent couldn't
tell me, either. <sigh>

It's *almost* embarrassing. Almost. "-)

Heh! I was writing a post for the "Corn on the Cob Holder" thread
in which I said I'd seen your photo before, on the jar of Gedney's
Peach-Raspberry jam you sent me a couple of years ago. I wasn't 100%
sure of the spelling, so I Googled "Gedney's" and "peach-raspberry"
and that was one of the results.

Thanks. There are a couple more stories coming up in the near future,
too. I think the reporters want to do the stories so they can taste the
goods. (I sold a pint of the pickles to the woman doing the story for
the Minnesota Women's Press. :-) Never one to pass up a sale, doncha
know. <grin>) Now I gotta hope to find more pickles at the farmers'
market this afternoon -- Rob's gonna be some po'd if he doesn't have any
B&Bs this winter!

It gets better, Blake! The MN Women's Press is doing a story. The
photographer and I had a great time -- she took some fine pictures of my
jars, backlit. Can't wait to see them and the article. Don't know when
publication is, though.
