Has anyone seen baby coconuts? I saw a little blurb on them in passing, I think
it was the Today Show. Apparently they can be eaten without removing the skin (it hasn't got a shell yet at this stage) in one bite! I have no idea where to get some. I live in Boston. Anyone have any ideas? -Jen Half the people you know are below average. -Steven Wright |

If the latter, "coquito nuts" have been available in the Frieda's section of various supermarkets for years. I KNOW Stop & Shop has them in the western 'burbs. -- Jean B. |

Hi Jean,
Thanks for the lead. What's the Frieda's section? I actually have no idea if I'm looking for real baby coconuts (I thought I was, now I'm not sure) or coquito nuts. I didn't even know coquito nuts existed. Are they canned or bagged or fresh?? Thanks. Jen Half the people you know are below average. -Steven Wright |
