Default baby coconuts?

Hi Jean,
Thanks for the lead. What's the Frieda's section?

I actually have no idea if I'm looking for real baby coconuts (I thought I was,
now I'm not sure) or coquito nuts. I didn't even know coquito nuts existed. Are
they canned or bagged or fresh??

Thanks.
Jen

Category Dried Fruits, Vegetables & Nuts
Price $41.40
All Prices Include Shipping.
Size 4 packages/ 3 ounces each * SHIPS UPS 2nd BUS. DAY

My God, 4 x 3oz.= 12 ounces. $41.40 for 3/4 of a pound. That comes
to about $55/pound. $121/kilo. Not quite the price of some illegal
produce, but quite a bit more than cashews.

Yes, shipping is included, but that's still expensive.

Ah, but those can be purchased in the Boston area. Still
expensive, but not as bad as that.

I actually ended up buying the coquito nuts through the Melissa's website,
where the same 3 bags plus shipping = $20 instead of $40! Even though Melissa's
products are distributed through Shaw's Markets, the ones I called (and the
Bread and Circus I also called) didn't actually carry these. Too obscure for
mass market appeal, I guess

I'll report back on flavor once they arrive!!
