(JA alters merely to assure no raw white or yellow onions be near) What
a good sounding salad, Steve. The Marines and I are sure to enjoy this
one, thanks!

One question, though. I have never purchased dry mustard, until my last
Penzeys order that is yet to arrive. Is it important that the mustard
be Coleman's, and if so, what may be a difference in them?

Thanks. I thought that it was going to taste very strange but was
pleasantly surprised. No white or yellow onions huh? Scallions or
shallot possibly? Heck, leaks would probably even work.

As for the Colemans, any dry mustard would probably be fine. As for
changing a recipe, I'm not sure that I've ever been able to follow a
recipe strictly "to the letter". But then again, I don't bake either. ;-)

I hope that you enjoy it.

Penzeys is the superiour product, it's fresher, and purer. Colmans is not
dated, is usually a blend, some even contains wheat flour. Colmans also costs
more, you pay for the brand name, and little yellow tins.

I've really got to get around to trying Penzeys one of these days.
Dunno why I haven't yet, just haven't gotten around to it yet. But I
don't recall ever reading a negative post about them.
