I think I'd drop the broccoli or green beans (I know it's either or, but I'm
saying neither nor).

Wild rice fo sho, or a mix with white rice (kind of a moros y cristos idea)

I'd suggest vinegar and oil and save the creamy idea for the dessert. It's
hot out, ice cream is probably best.

You maybe missed -- I'm thinking white only and I'll save the wild for
soup.
