As a result of a query about smoked turkey drum stick uses a week or two
ago I tried substituting a smoked turkey drumstick for the usual smoked (or fresh) ham hock and northern beans that I love. Came out _really_ well, better than the hock. I made it in a crock pot and all the meat fell right off the bones and cartilage. If you like beans and hocks and have a spare smoked turkey drumstick you might want to try this. -- "When you choose the lesser of two evils, always remember that it is still an evil." - Max Lerner |
