Default Wet aged rump

I bought two whole (cryovaced) rumps back in August, and decided to do a
little experiment. They've been sitting in my beer fridge since that time,
and as I was a little busy yesterday and didn't take anything out of the
freezer, I thought I'd take one out and see what happened.

Hardly any smell, a little slime was all, it cut like butter, and looked
pretty damn good!!

The SO said it had a 'different' flavour, but I think that's just the age
showing.

I might leave the other one in the fridge for another month or so.

why are they made of meat?
