They have a good full flavor, a bit sweet but tasty. Bake at 350 until hot (about 20-30 minutes). OR, put some pats of butter on them and drizzle maple syrup all over - same baking instructions. OR, sprinkle them with brown sugar, butter and put big marshmallows (cut in half horizontally) over the top - don't cover the vegetables entirely, leave some space in between - same baking instructions. Next time I am in the store, I will look at the canned yams. We used to have Trappey's and Bruce's, plus the store brands. I have not found Trappey's yams in a while, but I have seen their vegetables and beans on the shelf. Becca |
