I think Miche, as well as we Aussies, would prefer to donate money to help
the women, and the cause, in our own countries.

I'm sure that we all *wish* we could help everyone, everywhere in the
world, but it's just not feasible.

I was just adding information as to Leila and her family's wishes;
it seems to me a few days ago folks were discussing whether
there was a charity recognized at the level of the family.

So say you. You're sort of right, in that Americans donate
the smallest ratio of their income of just about any developed
country. It hovers about one percent average.

However, I am certain that many people slant their donations
towards things such as the preferred charity of a recently
departed friend. Even if it doesn't cause them to cough
up more money overall.
