At TJ's try their imported Organic Pasta for some reason this formula has a
wonderful taste and more important texture.

I can't remember the last time I was in a TJs, but it's been at least 3
years. Now I gotta make a run just to check out that store-brand uber
dooper flour someone mentioned. Sheesh, I'm practically baking in my
sleep these days!!

In my experience their prices for eggs, milk, sour cream, cottage cheese etc
are usually 15 top 25% lower than the big box stores. Check it out if you
use a lot of dairy.

When we made the trip down there, it was to go to Whole Foods, and
Trader Joe's wasn't open yet. And we have only been to Whole Foods
twice. It's just too far to go. So, I have to be content for now to go
to Ingles. (3 of them within 7 miles.)

Mexico. I believe that's 8-10 hours away.

Sigh. We are supposedly getting an IKEA, but TJ is only a dream.

You'll like it. Not a big store, not everything you ever need, but some
items you just won't find at the other stores and the prices are reasonable.

I'm thinking Albuquerque is right on I-25, whereas Santa Fe is
more on a side road... I think a person from Denver making a
TJ's run would pick Albuquerque.

There are plenty of reasons to visit Santa Fe which have nothing to do
with Trader Joe's. If I lived in the Denver area I wouldn't make a run
either to Albuquerque or Santa Fe *just* for Trader Joe's. I'd wait until I
had some other reason to go to either place and then incorporate a visit to
Trader Joe's into the rest of the trip.

'Zactly. Santa Fe is a terrific town for art galleries, food,
and relaxation. I would never drive more than an hour away
for olive oil and some of TJs fun foods but there's so much more
to see sand do there.

One thing no one has mentioned is that TJ often has people
offering generous samples of new products (coffee, crackers and
cheese, soup, dried fruit, candy etc.) and I never ran into one
I didn't like!

Is this a case of "absence makes the heart grow fonder"? They are
samples. I like them quite well, but the local TJs can't be accused of
making them "generous". And there is usually only one thing, unlike
Costco, where almost every food aisle offers samples.

And, maybe I'm a picky eater, but I'm fairly often not interested in
what they have that day.
