Default Kenmore Elite Oven opinions

I am re-doing my kitchen. I just got the Aug 09 Consumer Reports and they
gave a high rating for the Kenmore Elite 4804[3]. Anyone have one and what
is your opinion of it. Found very few comments. This is the single oven. I
would like your take on yours even if it is a double oven.

The Consumer Report rating was a 79 while the number two oven was rated at
69. That seems like a significant difference.

Since Kenmore appliances are made by mostly Whirlpool or Frigidaire, I'm
suspect that they would have a huge difference over the base brand. In any
case, I'd be sure to get a convection oven.

The Kenmore Elite oven is made by Electrolux. I have had one for 3 years
now. Mine is the gas version. I have had no problems with it. After
using a POS cheap one for years that wouldn't keep an even temperature
and was a bear to keep clean, this is by far a great improvement. My DH
even commented on the fact that I actually could bake a cake.
