Default Why is My Orange Juice Yellow?

Why is My Orange Juice Yellow?

I just poured a glass of Tropicana pure premium orange juice and as best as
I can tell, it's yellow juice!?!?

I've fresh squeezed oranges and tangerines that were almost neon-bright
orange.

I put the glass side by side with an orange t-shirt and it's definitely
yellow juice.

I see the Simply Orange in the clear plastic bottles and they're orange, at
least more so than Tropicana.

Are some producers adding dyes?

What color is your orange juice?

Best,

Andy

Hi phil.c!

Tastes like gallah, err... chicken? LOL!

I think the other brand tastes better but that could be a decision by vision
call.

How come when I squeeze your head I get brown shit? LOL

Apple juice looks just like what I pee... I know they're are not squeezing
pee colored apples.

Orange juice means juice of the orange, not orange colored juice.

Okay... we still have another week to go this month, so no more new
knowledge for Andy, Andy's pea brain couldn't handle any more new stuff
until next month. And since Andy has a pea brain when I squeeze his head
how come I don't get green shit... instead of brown shit... that must be
because Andy has his brains in his ass! BIAD! LOL LOL

Oranges (and t-shirts) vary quite a bit in color.
Juice oranges are usually a lot paler in color than
tangerines and clementines, for example. Different
varieties of orange ripen at different times.

If the flavor is good, I wouldn't worry about the color.

gloria p,

I know. [sigh]

It just seems (as far as I can recall) Tropicana was never quite so yellow.
