Default Corned Beef - Tough as Shoe Leather

Help please?

We cooked what looked to be a beautiful "Flat Cut Corned Beef" (3#)

It is terribly dried out & not cutable or chewable. Almost broke my
teeth.

Is there any way to salvage or remoisten this disaster? My husband
threw the broth out. TIA .......

You didn't cook it right. Either too long or not long enough. Make
sandwich/cracker spread out of it by throwing it in a food processor
or grinder with onion and mayo.

I would put it in a slow cooker and make a stew. Nothing is tough
after being in a slow cooker.

Why did he throw throw broth out? Overcooking the
meat shouldn't hurt the broth.

I always simmer my corned beef an extra hour past when the package
says it will be done. Then it's really done and soft.
You could always make Corned Beef and Hash, or throw it in some baked
beans instead of ham, or turn it into stew.
good luck
