Default Bakery & Deli products

I have baked my own bread for thirty years. This past weekend, due to
scheduling, I bought a loaf of bread from the grocery bakery.

On initial inspection, the loaf looked beautiful. Nice Wheat Bread
with a glazed top...oatmeal pieces on top. The price was 2.14 for
the loaf and I relinquished to the purchase.

After getting it home and slicing into it, it looked beautiful. Made
sandwiches with the bread and it actually has NO identifying flavor.
Just nothing. I was very disappointed. Next morning, lackluster
flavored toast. The Smart Balance spread was its only salvation.

Have you encountered this was any grocery products?
