Pretty good. We had noodles and pork with mushrooms, peppers, cabbage and
broc. Angel hair broken up instead of ramen, to save on fat. Fresh ginger,
soy sauce, some hot peppers. Nutty sweet and spicy.

I prefer corned beer and saurkraut but it's the similar line you have.

I made these:
http://thepioneerwoman.com/cooking/2...rlboro_mans_f/

My husband rode a new section of trail out at Lost Valley, caught a
handlebar on a grapevine and got launched off the dowhill side of the
trail. He's gonna be sore and he's got a fresh chainring tattoo on his
calf, but nothing's broken on him or the bike and the sandwiches were good.

Sometimes I tink I understanda da inglitch, den come sumpin lik dis.
Oi!

Or maybe grapevine and handlebar and such mean what the dictionary
says, not the arcane argot I would rather imagine.

Glad everyone is healthy and well-fed, though.

But, to Dan's Q -

I did similar, in the slo-cooker. Not my tradition, but still a
tradition. Haven't tasted it yet. Got invaded by nieces at
dinnertime and had to flee. Got good reports, though.

Looking forward to hash and maybe a left-over version of that pizza.

No, I was being literal. He was riding his mountain bike on a new
section of trail that has only been roughly cleared so far. He caught
the handlebar of his bike on a grapevine at the edge of the trail and
fell down the side of a rather large steep hill.

A chainring tattoo is a grease mark and/or series of puncture wounds to
the back of the calf caused by contact with the chainring of a bike,
usually during a crash.

I was - but your meal sounds so much more appetizing!

P.S. I'd add several dashes of Dave's Insanity or Tandoori Masala to the
Tabasco to spice things up a bit.

It was really good. But you want to be careful about leaning over the
hot skillet when you dump in the Worcestershire sauce. Getting those
fumes in your eyes and nose is like being pepper-sprayed. Dang...

And next time, I think it wants some sliced provolone cheese on top.

My, how original! ;-)

Lynn in Fargo
Just ****ed because you can't make corned beef and cabbage (& potatoes
& carrots & maybe a couple-o' parsnips & a rutabaga) especially since
the eater is on a low sodium diet.

I'll give you original. I have it at least 5 times a year because
I love it. Including on St. Swithin's day. One reason I married my
wife is because she does this for me.

That's what we ate. I made two loaves of soda bread, but took them to a
party.
