Friends,
I am going crazy trying to find a good slow cooker by researching the net. I go to various sites and then research a model on Amazon to see what people say about it. I am more confused than ever! First of all, I would like to cook a regular sized corn beef brisket that ever grocery store has. With it, I would like to add cabbage, onions, and potatoes. Being single, would a six quart size be too big or should I stick with 4 quart? I am trying to shop online, so it is not quite as easy as having them in front of me to compare (recent leg injury prohibits me from going to the store right now). Another thing I am running into is that on so many models, people complain that on the slow settings of whatever model I am looking at cooks too fast. The more I research, the more difficult a decision becomes. Where better to go than here? I definitely want an oval unit, but anything you can add as to brand or whatever is appreciated. Thanks, Mark |
