(Note, I'm doing this in the wee hours of the morning. Any mention of
"today" refers to Tuesday)

She was responsive today. Unhappy and uncomfortable, but responsive. The
one doctor I did talk to was not at all positive in his outlook.

I'm waiting now for all of her doctors to come to their conclusions.

Her blood glucose was at 120 today. A significant improvement. Nothing
else has improved though.

I'd like to remain positive, but the realist in me won't let me lie to
myself.

I remain positive when I talk to her. I choke back the tears and manage
to smile. When I told her she has 9 days to get out of there so she
could be my Christmas present, I asked her if she thought she could do
that.

I got an emphatic nod.

It will take nothing short of a miracle.
