It's the unilateral stuff that'll get ya every time.

Thanks Bob,

That would be Dr. Goofball. He had the unmitigated gall to post to
Pastorio's Journal when Bob was dying and Carol was reading the posts to
him. Needless to say she promptly removed Andrew Chung's post that was
vile.

I had already visited Caringbridge before I posted. No, it's not.
It's the one of her holding a seastar near her face. Maybe Cathy
still has a copy, but I doubt it.

there was no point in arguing with Dr. Goofball. He was a lunatic and
Bob seemed even crazier after a while.

Oh, I just LOVE seeing Bob being attacked when the only way he has of
defending himself is to haunt your house. You're one classy broad.

Just to save all of you the trouble, I did a Google. I got 334 posts
this year:

http://groups.google.com/groups/sear...as_oq=&as_eq=&
num=10&scoring=&lr=&as_sitesearch=&as_qdr=&as_drrb =b&as_mind=1&as_minm=1&
as_miny=2008&as_maxd=1&as_maxm=12&as_maxy=2008&as_ ugroup=&as_usubject=&as
_uauthors=Andrew+Chung+MD&safe=off&sa=N&start=320

I did a spot check, and all were to sci.med.cardiology, although many
were cross-posted to various Christian groups. Most had the word SATAN
in the title, most of the rest were about diabetes.

I believe that he no longer posts here because the sole purpose of his
posts was to anger Bob. Once Bob died, I guess he figured that Bob had
stopped reading rfc.

I have no memory of it. Furthermore, even if it did happen, I don't
*want* to remember. Dying is a stressful thing, and having Dr. Goofball
hammering on you doesn't help any. Bob was a wonderful person and
helped many, many of us here.

I know that I have said (and posted) many things that I have later
regretted. If Bob did that, I forgive him. I choose to remember only
the good things about him.

I wonder how he managed to come to that conclusion on his own. Oh, are you
suggesting he had someone helping him to parse simple sentences and to draw
inevitable conclusions? Hard to believe anyone had that kind of fortitude.

He posts to two newgroups that I follow, but he is not
the most abusive or obnoxious poster in either one (both
being hotter battlegrounds than RFC). We should be
thankful he has moved on from RFC. If PL's stalker
would throttle back, RFC could move toward being a
pleasant peaceful place, like Baghdad.

i can remember him taking a sharp tone about food authenticity and the
like, but not personally attacking people. but if he was attacking quack
dr. chun-king - well, that's perfectly understandable.

he seemed a nice fella and fine cook.

Bob was just fine. It's SF that's ****ed up in the heads. Bob
talked about food, SF didn't care for it - she'd rather get her face
into everything NOT related to food. That's why she killfiled him.

Your memory of Bob is pathetic and ridiculous. You should just keep
your opinions to yourself instead of misleading people into what
*you* want them to think and tarnishing his reputation.

I don't remember that either. Let's see an example of that
"frothing"--and I'm not talking about his responses to A- C- either.

I don't remember Bob going ballistic. I remember Andrew Chung and his
