Default 2 soup recepiees needed. One with meat ot fish. Another without. Good tasting, fast to make, cheap. Good to eat with freshly baked bread.

Chicken And Wild Rice Chowder

Soups/Chowders/Stews

4 cooked bonless, skinless chicken breasts; sliced
1 cup carrots chopped
1 cup celery chopped
1 cup mushrooms sliced
3 tbsp butter
3 tbsp flour
28 oz chicken broth
3/4 cup cooked wild rice
1 1/2 cup half and half
1/4 tsp fresh ground black pepper

Over medium heat in the butter cook the carrots, celery and mushrooms
till tender Stir in the flour and add the broth, chicken breast, wild
rice and pepper...bring to a simmer and simmer till thickened.

Add the half and half heat thru and serve
