HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Serve with sangria and tortilla chips....

Asparagus Guacamole
From the Michigan Asparagus Advisory Board

Makes 4 servings

10 1/2 ounces fresh, trimmed or frozen, cut asparagus
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons lime juice (lemon juice may be substituted)
2 Tablespoons canned green chili peppers, drained, chopped
1 Tablespoon onion, chopped
2 teaspoons tomato paste
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
1/8 teaspoon white pepper

Cook asparagus. Drain well, pat dry with paper towels and place in
blender. Add remaining ingredients. Blend until smooth. Dip will
become less thick upon standing and will need to be stirred.

I wasn't sure you'd like it... but it does have a dual purpose, you
can use some as a facial mask to tighten up that forty year old
skin... after forty you need all the help with sag you can get. LOL

You're welcome!

The crepes look great Kili. Glad they came out well. I also make a
spinach crepe that's wonderful. This is a scanned recipe page from a
magazine. (I think Food and Wine) I never bothered typing it up. I
tried frozen spinach, but fresh is way better.

Saved and Filed. I always order the spinach enchilada from my
favorite Mexican restaurant. They keep the leaves whole and barely
wilt them before wrapping. They are served with some sort of white
sauce that has just a hint of cheese to it. Good Eats!

It doesn't get much better than that, Kili. Maybe he picked the fight
on purpose so you'd flounce off and leave him alone to clean, didja
stop to think about that?

Your 40th is a little practice for your 50th.

Your 50th should last at *least* 2-3 weeks.

Baby sisters 50th is coming up in a couple of years. We're flying her
and hubby to Bali for 2 weeks (with us of course!!), and she's going to
do a skydive into a lake next to an active volcano on her b'day :-)

(I'll be with her, and anyone else that wants to come along.)

She *did* ask me to organize something for her 50th ;-)
