Or, I could just not salivate on them before eating to begin with. I'm sure

All your hard cooked eggs are for guests? Weird, my family likes them
as a snack. And I'm not concerned about my own saliva...

Go nuts then. I prefer not to do so. I don't inentionaly put hair in my
food, and I'll follow the same when it comes to spitting on eggs, It takes
about 1 second longer (at most) to do it the traditional way.
