We say neither pop or soda. My children have still to get used to their friends asking for a soda. It's always been "soda" to me, as in "Would you like a soda?" - unless, of course, it's a specific type in which case it would be "Would you like a Fresca" or "Tab" or whatever. I'm looking forward to it. I'm sure it's a fun read. Like you, I know these people. I guess I _am_ "these people." I'm sort of simultaneously rolling my eyes and waxing sentimental when I read books like these. Tara |
