Default Captain Kirk and backflips

The other day I was watching "Iron Chef America," which I think is pretty
good (I like the original better, but, as AB would say) that is another
post. While watching it, I seemed to remember a show very much like it that
had William Shatner as the "chairman," and was wondering if I was imagining
things.

I did a little looking on the Internet, and it turns out that I was thinking
of "Iron Chef USA." The show was originally on UPN, lasted only two
episodes (at least that is what wikipedia says), and the episodes have been
shown on Food Network (otherwise I probably would not have seen it). No
question here, but I bet Shatner can't do backflips as well as the current
"chairman" ( Mark Decascos - sorry if the spelling is wrong, but FN spells
it two different ways on their page about Iron Chef America -
http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/show...16696,00.html).
