Default Coming soon on Semi-Homade: Spring Picnic

Sandra's preparing a breathtaking picnic in the park
for her May Pole celebration!

I guess we'll finally find out what that paper towel holder she
bragged about making on Unwrapped2 is.

I'm cross-posting this to say please stop cross-posting this crap! I don't
know about you but I don't care what rec.arts (arts?!) and alt.tv.food think
about this show. If you don't like it change the ****ing channel. Or turn
the TV off and go read a book. (Sorry Michael.)

I love reading Ubi's posts about Sandra. They're hysterically funny..and
sadly accurate.

Complaining only insures that more will be cross-posted. You have total
control over which messages you choose to read.

Yes, and I'm sorry if I offended anyone. I just hate crossposts to groups
that are about television. I've never *seen* Sandra Lee and only caught
Rachel Ray by accident once on NBC (I misposted she was on FOX). I don't
know these TV celeb cooks and really don't care about them.

I think the last one I saw was Joan Nathan (Jewish cooking, I think it was)
on PBS. She had a lady on who very thoroughly salted and then pan-fried
baby artichokes in olive oil. I've been looking for baby artichokes ever
since. I've never seen them at the market. They were the size of very
small pine cones.

The dish was simple, looked delicious. And apparantly baby artichokes don't
have the spines which need to be cut off the leaves of mature chokes. They
just ate them with a knife, fork and dredged in garlic butter. The very
thought made me drool I love artichokes.

Yep, I can see grilling them (brushed with olive oil first) too, if I can
find them! Maybe in April? I certainly hope so.

Ooooh! Thanks Michael! Yep, I love the idea of artichokes with hollandaise
sauce! May I amend my death row last meal wish to include this?!
