Are there any good links on matching cheese with beer? For instance, if I
brew a 5 gallon batch of an India Pale Ale and I want to entertain friends, what cheese would compliment that beer? -gk- |

IPA's are generally very hoppy and dry. Would a sweeter cheese compliment or would a sharp stilton or gorgonzola be better? I'm interested in this as well. kili -- http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/kilikini |

I love IPA and while I don't normally eat the more fragrant cheeses, they go well together. I had a soft, salty cheese from Burgandy a while back which went well with several beers, but I can't recall the name. It had a pale yellow rind, if that helps. While not a cheese to drink with beer, has anyone tried Guiness-streaked Cheddar? Mmmm. |

I never thought it was any big deal. It sure does look pretty on a cheese plate. --Lia |
