Having spent the day lazing about, soaking in the tub and making chemo hats
for a friend whose girlfriend is fighting breast cancer, I did not have time
to make a big dinner.

I put David to work making a musgovian salad to deal with the aging tomatoes,
cucumber and avocado.

So that I could get rid of the eggs (they were getting a bit aged AND we
needed the egg carton for the cocooning silkworms) but also i needed to get
rid of some apples. I peeled and chopped some apples, melted 2 tbl butter,
added 2 tbl brown sugar, healthey dashes of cinnamon, cardamom and ground
ginger and cooked up the apple in that.

I tossed it in the 9x13 and threw it in the freezer to chill while I made the
batter and right now it is in the oven filling the house with deliciousness.
