Hi Riche,

Stay away from anything that has been artificially hybridized
for levels of carbohydrate that are not found it nature.
A short list to avoid would be any grains, bananas, oranges, apples,
winter squash, potatoes, yuka (I am misspelling that).

Here is a rule of thumb: if it did not come from the
produce or meat isle, it isn't food. And, then some of that
isn't either.

A short list of fruit you can eat: blueberries, raspberries,
boysenberries, tomatoes, jicama, tomatillo

There are a whole horde of vegetables you can eat. See if
you can find purslane. It is a free food and the most nutritious
plant on the face of the earth (if you listen to its advocates).

T%he guys her can tell you how to make your own (chemical) free
dressing. Oh boy is the eatin' good!

Let me know if you decide to look at the drug free
route. I will send you what I have, including
herbs and studies to back them up.

Hope this helps,
-T

That's because there is no one diet that we all eat. Please do not listen
to Todd. He says things that are just plain wrong.

What you need to do is what I said to begin with. Get something to use as a
log book. Get a meter. Test before and after eating. See what works for
you.

If you don't have one, get a book that lists food counts. Particularly the
carbohydrates. Some fruits such as bananas and oranges have more and faster
acting carbs. So these are good things to eat if you have low blood sugar
and need to raise it quickly. But not good to eat every day.

Ask your Dr. to hook you up with some diabetes education and a dietician.

That's just not true Todd. Now you are trying to say that nuts and cheese
are bad? Wrong.

That's not necessaril true either. Let your meter be your guide.
