Yes, I know it's a bit early and this will exclude anyone who isn't an
American. I don't know what we are doing this year. My dad is back in the hospital with another brain bleed. He seems okay in that he was able to call my mom this morning to tell her that it is still bleeding. But we feel pretty helpless here. With Angela still having the whooping cough, we can not visit the hospital. So I don't know if we will be going to my mom's house or not. Sometimes she just doesn't feel up to it. If we don't go I will likely just get some things from Costco. Not sure how much of it Angela and I can eat. They do have some good mashed potatoes that are cheap. Yes they have dairy in them. We have been being very bad on the dairy thing. I think they sell made up stuffing. Or I might just use up the gluten free cornbread mix that I have and make stuffing out of it. I think the mix is getting old. We'll just keep it very simple if we do it at home. We are not big into Thanksgiving. I think Angela and I like the mashed potatoes the best. Husband likes the turkey legs. Husband and I do like the cranberry salad that I make but Angela won't eat it. So I may or may not be making that. Ah... The whole thing just is coming so quickly! |
