FBG 118. Lunch was large, button mushroom caps, stuffed with ground pork,
minced mushroom stems and soy sauce, topped with fried garlic and FGBP. One hour post prandial 142. Two hour 121. Gotta find low carb 'shrooms! -- Nick. Oddly the shiitake have the highest carb count. I wouldn't think these would be used for stuffing, but I could be wrong. They are more expensive so if I do buy them, it is in small quantity and mixed with other cheaper mushrooms. I generally only make sauce out of them. |

Half a chook or side of beef would fill you? No? But I'd say missing brekky did the most damage. Do you test between the fasting number and the beginning of lunch? |

I suspect first, liver dump, and second caffeine. Of course, this has also been tied up with stopping Avandia.....and five days in hospital with pancreatitis. The fasting number was at the beginning of lunch. > ;-/ The minute you are up and active the bg will continue to rise until fed. It's also quite possible the breakfast din't have enough carbs to switch the dp off. Who made the mushies? If not you can you ask the wife what else went into it. There really is nothing in that lot that could make a rise in bg unless you have progressed very far into diabetes., past the point of diet working for control. |
