There are some databases that provide some nutritional information for
a variety of different of kinds of foods--though the emphasis is on North American foods, there may be enough here to help you as you are working out your diet: http://www.nal.usda.gov/fnic/foodcomp/search/ You might try this UK page: http://www.weightlossresources.co.uk...ndian_food.htm I don't know if these help you-- Your diet plan, regardless of what type of food you are eating, will need to have appropriate levels of carbohydrates, protein, fibre, etc. Suggestions about those components of a diabetic diet can be found in books and other places; you can then use the data found on the web sites above to help you plan your meals using Indian recipes.
