I'm looking for a large metal (stainless preferred) spatula/turner for
flipping eggs, pancakes and so forth. My parents have one by Vollrath that has a "blade" of 6" by 3". This was purchased maybe 25-30 years ago. It works very well but is likely out of production. Looking around the web, I don't see the appropriate measurements to make a choice. I've looked at the Oxo Omelet turner which while big enough being nylon is a bit thick and not stiff enough. There is a LamsonSharp which might work but its sort of expensive http://www.cutleryandmore.com/details.asp?SKU=8644 Any suggestions from your experience are appreciated. thanks, Sathyan |
