Default Wall Ovens: KitchenAid Architect or Dacor Epicure

I am considering the Dacor Epicure (ECD230) and the KitchenAid
Architect (KEBC208KSS). Both electric double wall ovens, convection.

After much research it seems like both are good, the Dacor a little
better.

My main concern with the KitchenAid is its broiler. It's only 1,667
watts compared to 3,000 on the Dacor and 3,000-3,600 on pretty much
every other oven I can find.

Does anyone have any experience with the KitchenAid broiler or know if
there is more to consdier with a broiler than just the wattage?

Thanks.

My mother has the KA unit and the broiler seemed fine, but I have only used
it once. There are three broiler setting - Broil , Convection Broil, and
Economy Broil. The latter only turns on the center half of the broiler. Be
sure to get a clarification on the watts listed. It may just be listing the
economy setting. As I recall, the KA only has closed-door broiling. If
that is an issue, you should check-out how the Dacor works.
