Default 1970's Cuisinart Shredding Blade

My Sainted Mother's(tm) heirloom Cuisinart 10-cup model was the solid
workhorse of her kitchen, cutting, shredding, kneeding, mixing like no other
modern piece of equipment. She showed me the proper way of pulsing to get
uniform cuts, how to prevent the motor from burning out, and
care-and-cleaning of the blades so the set are still sharp and shining like
new.

Upon inheriting it, it assumed the prized counter position on the
prep-island. I often prefer using it over my more-modern model DFP-11, which
has not had a similar track record. Two sleeve assemblies, a spindle, and
one of the shredding discs blowing it's plastic welds are the ever-growing
list of parts that have been replaced thus far.

Well, time has started to work against it. The cheese shredder finally
popped apart, leaving the stem broken away from the disk. The stem for my
mom's model has a larger base and does not detach like the modern models.
Are there any single blades still available out there? If so, would anyone
happen to be able to point me towards a website? Many thanks!

The Ranger
