Hey Louis,

Menu

Jamacian jerked turkey, jerked chicken wings and drumsticks, salt cod
fritters, red peas and rice in coconut milk, greens with hickory smoke ham
hocks, festival bread, plaintain and sweet potato chips with black bean
pineapple salsa and quacomole, jicama slaw, key lime pie and coconut cake
with banana cream filling

Did you also just get the latest issue of "Bon Apetit"? That menu
sounds like the Table of Contents.

Actually no I haven't yet. What did they have for a island dinner? We are
celebrating friends from Jamaca 20th anniversary. Big surprise for both of
them, we asked to come over for a simple dinner of sandwiches and to help
move furniture for us to have our carpets cleaned. We had another 10 of our
common friends join us.

I will post some pictures to ABF shortly. May not be too good of pictures as
I have had more than my share of Red Stripes.

The cover shows peel-and-eat hot pepper shrimp, plaintain chips with
cilantro-lime sauce, and mini crab fritters.

We must be behind here. We have a pasta dish on the cover and weeknight
shortcuts. Wish I had seen it when I was planning this.

you are missing one of the key side dishes, something called festival,
similar to a hushpuppy
