Ok im bored and a question just popped into my head.
What variety apple tree is considered best for smoking meats? Surely one is more aromatic that the rest. Or not. lol Cliff |

Or not. lol I prefer the Cut-and-Stacked-by-Somebody-Else variety. It's an heirloom, though, so it's difficult to find. I doubt there's much discernable difference from one variety to the next. And lots of aroma isn't necessarily a good thing. I have some lilac chunks I've never been able to bring myself to use. They smell too much like an Avon lady's display case. |
