apple trees
 
Ok im bored and a question just popped into my head.

What variety apple tree is considered best for smoking meats?
Surely one is more aromatic that the rest. Or not. lol

I prefer the Cut-and-Stacked-by-Somebody-Else variety. It's an
heirloom, though, so it's difficult to find.

I doubt there's much discernable difference from one variety to the
next. And lots of aroma isn't necessarily a good thing. I have some
lilac chunks I've never been able to bring myself to use. They smell
too much like an Avon lady's display case.

Speaking of ladies and aroma, lol, Ive always thought that if Avon could
come up with a perfume that smelled like bacon or sausage, that women would
have to fight the men off with a big stick. lol
