Thanks BBQ been there & done that.

What I wanted was a product review on the "Solar Brand" with the radiant
cooking elements. Any one out there familiar with the Solare Grill?

Yeah, it's a great unit! It's spelled Salaire, btw, and the website seems to
be down at the moment, but if you google the proper spelling, you'll find
some good sources.

This unit is pretty much strictly for grilling mind you, as I don't thinking
there is even a tray for "smoking" with wood ships. But for steaks, chops,
and chicken, it's right up there. I've not used their large unit, but there
is a small "portable" that is absolutely outstanding. Retails with stand for
around $400.00, I think.

A friend of mine has one, and it's all he will use for steaks.
I'm still a "wood fire only guy," or I'd probably get one, too.
