Barbecue (alt.food.barbecue) Discuss barbecue and grilling--southern style "low and slow" smoking of ribs, shoulders and briskets, as well as direct heat grilling of everything from burgers to salmon to vegetables.

Default Everything I know about XMAS I learned from TV...

On Christmas Day I ponder on the important lessons I've learned about
the meaning of Christmas...

From George Bailey: I leanred how rich one is are regardless of
monetary status as long as you have friends...

From Rudolf and Hermey the Elf (Dentist) : that sometimes being a
Misfit is alright...

From Young Kris Kringle: that when faced with a difficult situation,
if you just put One Foot In Front of the Other, soon you'll be walking
out the door...

From Charlie Brown: that there is more to the meaning of Christmas
than crass commercialism...

From Frosty returning with the new snow each year: that hope springs
eternal...

From Aaron, the little drummer boy: that everyone has something worth
contributing to mankind...

From Old Kris Kringle: that you can outlast the Burgermeister
Meisterburgers of this world if you just have a little hope and keep
the faith.

From Bishop Brougham: that there just might be an Angel named Dudley
looking after me...

From Ralphie Parker: that if I actually get what I REALLY want for
Christmas, I'm liable to shoot my eye out...

From this list: I just may have watched a little too much TV when I
was young...

;-)

Peace on Earth, Goodwill to All!

I'm gonna go see what's on the tube...

;-)
