Default Anyone heard of this for steak??

Our son reccommended this steak rub - coffee grounds(right outta the can).
Salt .Pepper. & Garlic. Came from a friend of his also in the Navy Who has
spent a lot of time in Texas, and that's where we think it came from.

Sounds horrific, but in reality, was pretty damn good.

I think the next time I will grind the coffee finer than just out of the
can, but we'll be using this one again.

Dunno if I could bring myself to try it although I probably should.
But I can't stand the taste of ultra strong coffee and that's the
picture that I get of this. How stront was the coffee flavor?

Swedish meatballs traditionally have a coffee flavored sauce or gravy as
part of the dish. Once you've had it you wouldn't have it any other way.
