Default Use for near Dead Old Grill

Hey all,

I just got a new Members Mark 873 sq Inch grill. I love it. Was able to
grill steaks with a wonderful sear when it was 0º F outside. Now I am
wondering what to do with my old Kenmore POS. It served us ok for 3 years
but I had to replace the grates and the burners twice. The burner is ok but
the body and one of the valves is shot. I was thinking about trying to get
burner to work as a log starter for my smoker. Good idea or bad? Any
thoughts?

Chef
