Default deep frying turkey for Xmas

I agree Steve, I've had the same thing happen. But it was more the result
of excess pooling of the marinade than anything. Too much concentration
in one area. That's why I emphisized proper injection technique. Once
I started doing that it never happened again. I've injected up to 3 days
before.
