Default Does anyone build grills?

A while back I saw on this group people were talking about where to place
the stack. I built a 4x4x4(foot) Q with no hot box and placed the stack on
the end of the grill and just below the grill surface. All in all the stack
was about 2'6" it looked like a large L. It also had a rotisserie in it
which kept the heat more even when it was on. I would like to say thanks for
the info. I will be building all my Q's in this manner. I haven't had a
complaint yet except by other people with hot boxes. While they sit at home
alone my grill is hard at work entertaining the gang.
