Was sighted in South Central Georgia this weekend cooking a drunk whole hog,
or was he drunk cooking a whole hog?
He done a great job on that pig. IO just imagine that it was 125° plus in
the pit house.
I think I must have cooked 60 eggs making 3 egg omelets this morning.

Yes I used 60 eggs to make omelets. We used so many they had to go to the
chicken pen and collect more. Friday morning we deep fried (poached) them in
fresh lard.

I was under the impression that eggs were high in "good" cholesterol and
low in "bad" cholesterol?

Mmm. Cracklins. We get chicharones here on the left coast.

Food contains cholesterol, period. There is is no such thing as a food
that is high or low of either type cholesterol. Your body decides what to
do with that ingested cholesterol based on many, largely unknown, factors.

And they were good too. At least mine was. Thank you. Film to be
aired when I get done messing with it. And oh yeh, it was at least 125 in
the pit shack. Both the burn down fire and the main pit were going full
blast
all day in confined space. Gotta give pitmaster Ed Clay credit. He was
still
breathin' on Sunday.

You misunderstood. I wasn't implying that ALL food contains cholesterol
(is anybody stupid enough to make that statement?), just that food that
DOES contain cholesterol, has only one kind of cholesterol.

TFM and Ed did a fine job of cook'n hog, brisket, wolf turds. But they
weren't tooo hot sitting outside and under the shade tree with the ice
cooler next to 'em! My hats off to 'em. Everyone seemed to be having a
fine time butchering hogs, chopping heads off chicken, pluck'in and
cut'in. As usual the food presented by Bob and Ginger was superb! They
are the most gracious of hosts and I will forever be in their debt and
grateful to be there with them. An unusual high temperature around 100
degrees but it really didn't feel bad at all. There was also fresh
caught catfish, pound cake, peaches, cream little pecan pies, cherry
cobbler (thanks to cousin), down home bacon, sausage, pork chops, an old
time stew which I was unable to partake of containing lung and other
noble pig parts, maybe next time, mashed taters, cheese grits, biscuits
N gravy to die for, I know I'm forgettin something, and Big Jim, you are
a pillar of the HTH, without your vast cook'in skills and knowledge it
could only be half as good without you there partner. It was great to
meet TFM and Brick in person, both fine gentlemen, well one of them! LOL

Oh, shut the **** up, you anal ****. I'm sure if you knew how to read
WITH CONTEXT - which you conveniently snipped - you could have figured it
out just like 95% of the other readers did (Free Clue: There are 20 readers)

Hey, the explanation is simple. We're all a bunch of carnivores here,
so of course 'food' is 'meat' and contains cholesterol.

Right? <G>

Well, not eDzAchary. But if somebody were to ask me to name the 4
basic food groups, the answer is obviously red meat, dark meat,
white meat, seafood, and noodles.

I don't know if anyone could ever come back from such a devastating
