I've looked for the proper bannetons on my twice-yearly visits to the UK
without success. However, IKEA at one time, stocked what they called bread
baskets, wicker, about 9" in diameter, and with a removable cotton liner.
I also bought something similar from the Conran shop in London.
Proper bannetons are very expensive as you will find out if you google.

I don't know about UK but in Germany you might find some at museums (such
as historical villages) or at eBay...
