Here's an interesting decorating idea for anyone who loves doing
things themselves. This will be especially fun if you like crafts too:
Make a poster collage.
Now the first step in this project would be to pick out a wall for the
collage display. This will work beautifully on larger walls, but
smaller arrangements can be made too.
Step two is to buy a large, mural or wall sized poster. How large of a
poster you buy will depend on the size of the wall you plan to work
with. I think the biggest impact will be made with at least a three
foot by four foot poster or wall space.
The type of poster you choose is up to you. It can be a generic nature
scene with trees, a mountain and lake. Or try a pretty garden scene
with a bench and arbor. If your room is done is a more modern style,
trying getting an abstract poster with bright, vibrant colors instead.
Step three is to buy nine to twelve picture frames. You can buy the
clear acrylic kind without actual frames around them, or go with
matching standard frames in any style you'd like. You'll end up with
entirely different looks just by the type of frames you choose too, so
you might consider buying more than one set, so they can be changed at
various times of the year....
