My DH made me sweet & sour chicken wings for dinner yesterday -- one
of my favorites that my mom used to make:

Sweet & Sour Chicken Wings

12-16 chicken wings
2 eggs, beaten
2+ C. flour
Cooking oil

Sauce:

1/4 C. pineapple juice
1/4 C. white vinegar
1/4 C. ketchup
1/4 C. brown sugar, packed
1/2 C. honey
1 tsp. salt
1-1/2 tsp. soy sauce

Mix all ingredients in medium saucepan, no heat. Dissolve 2 T.
cornstarch in 3 T. water, add to sauce, mixing well. Cook over
medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until sauce comes to a boil.
Let cook 1-2 minutes, stirring, until sauce is clear and thickened.
Let stand.

Cut wings at joint, leave tips attached to middle pieces or discard
them. Dip wings in egg, roll or shake in flour. Brown in hot oil
in large frying pan over medium-high heat. Place in single layer in
baking pan, bake for 30 minutes at 350º. Lower oven tempurature
to 325º. Brush wings with sauce, bake for 15 minutes. Turn wings
over, brush with remaining sauce and bake an additional 15 minutes.
Great with baked potatos.
