I'll be dog gone. That's what it says below model on the bottom, F.L.A.E.M.
but it's written on the front "FoodSaver" in english. The items in the sale,
art and etc definitely indicated the owners had been world travelers.
Guess I'll just use it and not worry about the gizmo on the bottom as I
don't do Italian and I doubt my Italian brother inlaw does either.
