The idea behind the vitamix is that you retain the vitamins etc. in the
pulp. Your choice to buy into that idea or not. It's true that you have to
dilute it with ice; I find the juices quite palatable. You could always run
it through a sieve if you wanted to remove the solids, and it would still be
easier to clean than most juicers.
