I thought I'd mention that our local Cub Foods is offering a "buy
one/get one free" turkey coupon this week. They suggest that you keep
one and "give" the free one to a shelter. There is a coupon for the
shelter's turkey, so Cub knows that they can donate one.

I don't know if other supermarket chains are doing this, but I think
it's a fantastic idea. I don't usually buy my turkey at Cub Foods, but
I'll do it this year just because it's a free turkey that I can donate.
It certainly doesn't make my own turkey cost any more.
